Logline
When they discover the ability to travel across parallel worlds, twin sisters Finn and Hilary race against time to stop a tyrannical ruler from taking over the entire universe.
Synopsis
There are 28 known parallel universes in existence. We live in #25. And for the first time in thousands of years, a new one is going to be created by twin sisters FINN and HILARY ALEXANDER. But right now, these Millenials are about to turn 18 years-old and all they want is new clothes and cake.
In fact, Finn and Hilary have no clue they have special abilities at all. When their monumental day arrives, however, they get more than they bargained for when they’re instantly propelled into the adventure of a lifetime.
More Info
There certainly had been a fair share of clues up to this point in their lives, however. For example, their mother RIVER disappeared without a trace when they were toddlers. Since then, their father DIRT had become a town pariah and lead a sheltered life. Hilary discovers the newfound power of persuasion within herself. And just 5 years earlier, Finn’s first boyfriend HENRY vanished when they attempted a first kiss. Little does Finn and Hilary know, that all of these events had a common thread.
Finn and Hilary were born in Parallel World #15, which is currently under rule of THE AUTHORITY, led by Chancellor LUCY FORNODO. In fact, the Authority are the evil, governing body of most parallel worlds. When Lucy discovered the girls existence, she feared their ability to create an opposing world and sought to destroy them. Dirt managed to escape with his daughters to our world to protect them, but sacrificing River’s freedom in the process – leaving her prisoner under Fornodo’s reign.
On their 18th birthday, Finn and Hilary visit their grandmother – GRAMS – and receive cryptic information about their heritage. She also gives them a unique gift – a JUMP DIAL. It’s a device used to travel to other parallel worlds, but currently banned by The Authority. Hilary is skeptical of the newfound revelations, but Finn wastes no time in testing the waters and “jumps” to parallel world #15. It’s here where she finds Henry, who had somehow jumped “the gap” and become stuck in the new world five years earlier. Finn, however, finds herself in a similar, precarious situation and is captured by Lucy Fornodo.
Having not heard from her twin sister and fearing the worst, Hilary, Dirt, and River’s bumbling brother MARLIN embark on separate missions to rescue Finn. Hilary meets some renegade “Gap Jumpers” and with their help, travel through multiple, breathtaking worlds to get to Finn. Dirt and Marlin use guns and swords to break through Fornodo’s notorious SHADOW MEN ARMY, leading to some high octane battle scenes.
When Lucy Fornodo learns of our heroes’ plans, she manages to capture the sisters and formulates a new one: reunite them with their mother River, to create another world, one more powerful and controlling than her current one. Her plan is a momentary success, but she underestimates the powers of Finn and Hilary, who discover a long lost secret that can lead to Fornodo’s downfall. Together, with their mother and father, Finn and Hilary counter with a profound revelation: that together as a family, they can overcome tyranny and persecution. Using their combined powers – and with only seconds left – they manage to destroy Fornodo and her new world, creating peace in the entire universe.
