Just a little update on The Good Samaritan
It’s been a while since I posted on the blog but it isn’t because we don’t love you guys. We’ve just been super busy submitting to festivals, creating new website content, working on the Facebook Fan Page, creating promotional items and personally I’ve been writing a feature length script inspired by The Good Samaritan short. So, lots going on here.
If you haven’t checked out The Good Samaritan Gallery please do. We’ve slowly been putting pictures up from the film. We have just a few up right now and a few more will be added soon.
I had mentioned in the last post that we were working on a Facebook Fan Page, well it’s coming together and won’t be to much longer for it to launch. I’ll announce it soon I hope. Just want to have a little more content before releasing it out into the world.
One of the most exciting things happening right now is putting together our promotional items for the film. And one of those items is the poster / DVD art. We are working with a wonderfully talented artist, Jeff Nitzberg, to create our poster art. I saw a sketch yesterday and it blew me a way. This guy is a real gem I’m telling you. I can not wait to see it when it is complete and look forward to revealing it to you guys. I think you’ll dig it.
In the past, I’ve been asked after completely a short film whether we’ll be making a feature from it and usually my answer is “No. The short was just a short. No need for a feature.” But before we had even completed Good Samaritan an idea was formulating and two weeks ago the 2nd draft of a feature script was completed. I’m not sure at this point if we’ll be going forward with it. It needs Elizabeth to look it over and several rewrites to follow that but it’s a possibility. I’ll keep you post.
